Our goal is to keep the memory of Eric Ward vibrant and help others & causes about which he cared or that reflect him. We were inspired after hearing many stories about how Eric impacted others’ lives in a positive way but never sought attention for his actions.
Who is Eric? Eric John Ward is the name of a kind-hearted, smart, funny, good-looking and generous young man who was loved by many, many people. Son to Kendra and Brian, Brother to Baylee. Friend to Logan, Maverick, Tustyn, Cody, Nick, Mikey, Chris, Deon, Taylor, Ashley, JD, Anthony, Riggs, Andreas, and so many others. Soldier in the Army National Guard. Student at Bowling Green State University's Aviation School. Graduate of EHOVE Criminal Justice & Margaretta HS. Natural athlete who played football, basketball and baseball, ran cross country, specialized in hurdles on the track team and the 50 free and relays on the swim team. His huge heart guided him to love and care for animals, help people in need, stand up for others being bullied, befriend others regardless of who they are or what they look like, and be active in community service in Teen Leadership Corps. Eric died on a Monday when he was 20 years old. On August 22, 2016, he chose to end his life. He is missed greatly, yet will always be loved immensely. We started 4WARD so people remember him and what he did for others. Who We Are: We are Eric’s family. We chose 4WARD Project as our group's name because:
